2027 Tour of Britain
The men's 2027 Tour of Britain will once again be contested across a number of stages, with host towns and cities to be confirmed closer to the time.
The equal split introduced in 2026, when both the men's and women's races were contested across five stages each, is expected to continue, though the exact number of stages for 2027 will not be known until closer to the races.
The women's race will take place first, followed by the men's race a couple of weeks later. The 2027 dates are yet to be confirmed and will be announced nearer the time.

Tour of Britain Past Winners
There have only ever been three repeat winners of the Tour of Britain. The first to achieve this was the Norwegian Edvald Boasson Hagen, who won it in 2009 and then again six years later in 2015.
Dutchman Lars Boom won it in 2011 and then, like Hagen, won it again six years later in 2017, whilst Belgian Wout van Aert had a much shorter gap between wins, having won it in 2021 & 2023.
Tim Wellens' win in 2026 moved the Belgians on to four wins in the race, tying them with the French and the Dutch, who also have four winners each. The Brits have supplied three winners, whilst the only other country with multiple winners is Norway with two.

Women's Tour of Britain Past Winners
The Women's Tour of Britain has proven a very competitive race. Since its introduction in 2014, we have had eleven tours with a total of ten different winners.
The only person who has been able to win more than once is the Brit Lizzie Deignan, who won the 2016 edition (then named Lizzie Armitstead) and the 2019 edition.
Those two wins are the only two for Great Britain; the only other country to supply multiple wins is the Netherlands, which won with Marianne Vos (2014) and Demi Vollering (2021).
Nine of the eleven winners were European riders; the only riders to buck the trend were American Coryn Rivera, who won the 2018 tour and Kimberley Le Court-Pienaar from Mauritius in 2026.
