Dorking Face Dover Next
Dorking Wanderers return to league action on Saturday with the first of two trips to Dover Athletic in the space of a week.
The Wanderers are unbeaten in nine and yet to lose away from home, but face a side who have won their last five matches in all competitions.
Two In-Form Sides Meet In Kent
Dover sit just outside the play-off places in 8th, one point and one position above Dorking. Five wins, two draws and three defeats from their opening 10 league matches is a strong start for a side that finished 20th last season.
Their winning run includes 1-0 away victories at Dagenham & Redbridge and Farnborough, along with FA Cup wins over Folkestone and Hanwell Town.
Last season, Dorking came from behind twice to draw 2-2 with Dover at the Megger Community Stadium. The most recent meeting came in February, when goals from Brennan Camp and George Knight earned the Wanderers all three points.
One man who knows the opposition well is George Nikaj, who scored 15 league goals for The Whites last season before his summer move to Meadowbank.
Dorking go into the match in good form (DDWWW), while Dover's is perfect (WWWWW).
What Marc White Said:

"I think it was a really hard-fought 1-0 win against Chatham. I think their formation caught us by surprise and we didn't play brilliantly on the day, but we still had a fair share of possession," White said.
"What was notable was the players actually ran a good 2km less than their average. That was due to how much the game was broken up - 18 fouls in the first half. I thought Chatham tactically got it right, they broke the game up and they tried to disrupt our playing style. Credit to them for that but we got there in the end."
On drawing Dover in the FA Cup, he added: "I think it's going to be a great couple of weeks. I think it's a good draw because it's a great club, great facilities, great people there. Chairman Jim Parmenter and I have a good relationship.
"The pitch will be grass and I think it's a very winnable game. It would be great to make history by winning that cup match but, of course, first things first - the league game."
White is keen to keep the run going. "In terms of the league it's very tight at the moment but we're one game a week now. We haven't lost in nine, we are unbeaten away from home, so we'll be looking to build on all of that."
What Harry Pinchard Said:

"Scoring directly from a corner wasn't the plan. We do a set piece where we try and surround the keeper and the boys did a great job blocking the keeper and their ball winners. I just try to deliver it in and around the keeper and, thankfully, that day it went in the net," Pinchard said.
"I've started to feel a bit better the past couple of games fitness-wise, it's taken me a while. I've played a lot of minutes considering how long I was out injured but I still feel like I'm getting to my full sharpness. Fitness is getting better and better every week so I'm really happy with the position I'm in. I'm not getting any bother with my knee, which was the main concern when coming back."
On the cup draw, he added: "Really happy with the FA Cup draw, Dover have obviously started really well but it's a big grass pitch which suits a team like us. It's nice to get a side at our level rather than playing a National League side. I think if you were to give us Dover to get in the first round proper before the competition started, we would have taken that. Happy with the draw but we are expecting a tough game."
Pinchard is confident about Saturday. "And this weekend, I think it's the two in-form sides in the league. We'll go there with a certain way of playing to get the three points and we'll do all our homework on them as we always do, but we're really confident going into the game.
"I think the team is in a great spot. We're attacking really well and keeping the ball really well. We need to tighten up a bit defensively as a team, but we're in a great spot going into the game and we can definitely build on the clean sheet at Chatham who were a good side."
