- Choose between the high volatility Ra mode and very high volatility Osiris mode
- VS Expanding Wilds can reveal multipliers reaching 1000x during winning spins
- Free Spins feature introduces walking wilds, respins and 25,000 x bet max wins
Ra vs Osiris has officially launched today, the 3rd of September 2026, with Pragmatic Play inviting you to choose sides in a dramatic battle between two Egyptian gods. The new release offers 5 reels, 5 rows and 15 paylines, alongside stakes beginning from 10p per spin at participating UK slot sites.
The first decision you make is whether to enter the Kingdom of Ra or the Kingdom of Osiris. Ra delivers high volatility with red-dominated visuals, while Osiris raises the risk level to very high volatility and switches the presentation to a darker green colour scheme. Both versions share the same core mechanics, although their RTP settings differ slightly.
Expanding Wilds Put the Gods Into Battle
The standout mechanic is the VS Expanding Wild. When one appears as part of a potential win, it can expand across its entire reel before 2 multiplier values compete. The winning value, which can reach 1000x, is then applied to combinations involving that wild reel. Where several expanded wilds contribute to the same result, their multipliers are added together.
3 or more Scatter symbols activate 6 free spins. Before the feature begins, you can either accept the awarded minimum wild multiplier or gamble for a higher starting value, potentially reaching 100x. An unsuccessful gamble returns the game to the base round, making this an important risk-versus-reward decision.
Walking Wilds Transform the Free Spins
During Free Spins, expanded wilds become walking wilds. Each one shifts left across the grid with every respin and remains active until it moves beyond reel 1. Additional wilds can extend the sequence, while further Scatter combinations award extra free spins and increase the minimum multiplier level.
Ra vs Osiris offers 25,000 x bet max wins and an RTP reaching 96.54%, depending on the selected mode and version offered by the operator. You can explore its mechanics through the free demo slots version before considering real-money play.

Ra vs Osiris Verdict
Rated 4.2/5, Ra vs Osiris brings a strong variation to Pragmatic Play’s expanding-wild formula. The selectable volatility modes provide a meaningful choice, while the switch from expanding to walking wilds gives the bonus round its own identity.
