Hasn't raced over this far since leaving Roger Varian, but his best form over the trip and farther is at least comparable with that over the sprint trips he has been kept to since joining the current stable. The draw hasn't been kind. He hasn't been out since June, and there appears to be no market confidence in his chance, so he's a risky betting proposition. The favorite apart, the form of the opposition looks sketchy at best, and he may run into a place at very rewarding odds.

Down the field at Kempton thirteen days ago but will no doubt come on appreciably for that first outing since June. He's on a very competitive mark, three pounds below his last win, and the much-underrated Callum Shepherd, who is two from five aboard the gelding, takes the ride.
