I break betting odds news as it happens, so you’re never left behind when the market moves or a top offer lands.

  • Harry Styles is 1/5 to headline Glastonbury 2027, an implied 83.3% chance and the shortest price in the market.
  • Sam Fender (1/3) and Billie Eilish (1/2) are also odds-on, meaning the betting points to three Pyramid Stage headliners already in place.
  • Tickets for the June festival sold out in 42 minutes, but organisers have yet to name a single headliner.

Harry Styles Out On His Own At The Top

Harry Styles has become the runaway pick to top the Pyramid Stage bill next summer, with betting experts now offering just 1/5 on him headlining Glastonbury 2027.

Those odds imply an 83.3% chance that the former One Direction star closes one of the nights at Worthy Farm.

It is a far cry from the early betting. When the first markets appeared back in June, Styles was sharing top billing with Sam Fender at 6/4, with Oasis and Taylor Swift not far behind.

Four months on, Styles has been cut to the point where a £5 bet would return just £1 in profit.

Glastonbury returns from 23 to 27 June 2027 after this year’s fallow break. Fans have already proven their appetite, with standard tickets at £408 selling out in 42 minutes earlier this month, all without a single act being announced.

Homegrown Hero And A Returning Headliner

Sam Fender at 1/3 would be a hugely popular booking. The North Shields singer-songwriter has spent the last few years graduating to stadium shows, and a Saturday or Sunday night on the Pyramid would feel like the natural next step for one of the country’s best-loved guitar acts.

Billie Eilish has already been there and done it after becoming the youngest solo artist to headline the festival back in 2022, and a return slot five years later is priced at 1/2.

Muse are the highest-priced of the established Glastonbury veterans. The Devon band have headlined three times already, in 2004, 2010 and 2016, and 3/1 suggests the market sees them as the most likely alternative should one of the top three fall through. U2, who topped the bill in 2011, are 6/1.

What the expert says...
Muse at 3/1 is a decent shout if you think one of the top three is a red herring, but it feels like the top three in the market are set in stone. Styles and Fender have been nailed on for weeks, with Billie Eilish coming into the conversation more recently.

Taylor Swift Drifts As Eavis Rules Out Oasis

The bigger names further down the list have drifted. Taylor Swift was among the early market leaders but is now out at 8/1. She was due to headline in 2020 before the pandemic wiped out that year’s event, and a first Glastonbury appearance remains on many fans’ wish lists.

Sabrina Carpenter completes the list at 10/1 after previous festival headline slots, including Coachella.

Two names have disappeared from the conversation altogether. Oasis were 2/1 when the first prices went up, but Emily Eavis has since ruled out a reunion appearance, along with Madonna.

Eavis has also said all of next year’s headliners are already booked, so it may only be a matter of time before the announcements start.
