I break betting odds news as it happens, so you’re never left behind when the market moves or a top offer lands.

  • Shaun Wright-Phillips and Melanie Walters share top spot in the next elimination market at 2/1 and 9/4 respectively, with bet365 rating them the two most likely to leave this week
  • Lacey Turner continues to lead the race to win the Glitterball at 6/4 (40.0% implied probability), with John Nellis her nearest challenger at 11/2
  • All 14 couples have confirmed their dances for this week via It Takes Two, with Bethany Antonia performing an American Smooth and Dani Dyer taking on the Tango.

Tight Market To Leave This Week

Both winner and next elimination odds are now up on UK Betting Sites ahead of another big weekend of Strictly Come Dancing.

Two names are tight for top spot in the market to be the next couple sent home, with Shaun Wright-Phillips and Melanie Walters currently neck-and-neck to go next.

Chris Appleton was the first celebrity eliminated on this year's Strictly, with Jaime Winstone in the dance-off against him on last weekend's episode.

Bet365 put her out at 5/1 to go this weekend, with a bounce expected according to those odds.

Here's how the next elimination market currently reads:

Lacey Turner Continues To Lead The Winner Market

While the next elimination market tightens up at the top, the race to win the Glitterball tells a rather different story, with one name pulling clear of the field.

EastEnders actress Lacey Turner is now clear favourite in the winner market, with bookies expecting her to be a dominant force this series.

This Week's Dances Confirmed

All 14 couples have revealed their dances and songs for this week via It Takes Two, giving punters plenty to weigh up before the odds move again.

Here's the full rundown:

• Bethany Antonia & Nancy – American Smooth, Love Song by Sarah Bareilles

• Dani Dyer & Nikita – Tango, Show Me Love by Robin S

• Tabby Stoecker & Mark – Argentine Tango

• Jaime Winstone & Carlos – Viennese Waltz, Never Tear Us Apart by INXS

• Delta Goodrem & Kai – Salsa, Ain't Nobody by Chaka Khan

• Graeme Hall & Lauren – Jive

• John Nellis & Katya – Cha Cha Cha, Rock Your Body by Justin Timberlake

• Lacey Turner & Vito – Samba, Bamboleo by Gypsy Kings

• Melanie Walters & Aljaz – Charleston, Ooh Ahh Just A Little Bit by Gina G

• Sarah Storey & Julian – Paso Doble, California Dreamin' by Sia

• Will Best & Dianne – Waltz, With You I'm Born Again by Billy Preston & Syreeta Wright

• Cach Mercer & Maddie – Commercial/Street, Beware.. The South London Lover Boy by Raye

• Lawrence Robb & Jowita – Rumba, Back To Friends by Sombr

• Shaun Wright-Phillips & Alexis – Quickstep, I'm A Believer by The Monkees

With both market leaders, Shaun Wright-Phillips and Melanie Walters, facing routines that have historically been tricky for even strong dancers (the Quickstep and the Charleston respectively), it's easy to see why the betting sites have them positioned where they are this week.

What the expert says...
Shaun and Melanie being close at the top of the elimination odds doesn't surprise me one bit, as Quickstep and Charleston are two of the toughest routines in the book for anyone without a dance background. What's more interesting to me is how settled the winner market's become. Lacey's been the standout from week one really, and there's nothing in these dances that looks likely to change that this week.
