- OLBG Racing Club has launched a new micro-share syndicate in Pass The Buck, giving racing fans the chance to own a share of a racehorse for just £95.
- The three-year-old gelding makes his syndicate debut this Saturday at Market Rasen (3:05pm), sourced by Ed Bailey Bloodstock and trained by Harry Derham.
- Just 1,200 shares are planned in total, far fewer than the 3,500–4,000 offered by some rival micro-share syndicates, and OLBG covers any costs beyond what's collected.
OLBG Launches New Racehorse Ownership Opportunity
Racing fans who follow OLBG's site for their weekend tips now have a rather different way to get involved in the sport, with OLBG Racing Club launching a new micro-share syndicate in Pass The Buck.
It's a chance to own a piece of a racehorse without the usual five-figure price tag, and with the horse running this very weekend, there's no long wait to see him in action.
Pass The Buck was sourced by Ed Bailey Bloodstock and is trained by Harry Derham, a combination OLBG has worked with before to good effect.
He makes his first start for the syndicate at Market Rasen this Saturday at 3:05pm, giving new owners an immediate stake in how his career unfolds.

Meet Pass The Buck
Pass The Buck is a three-year-old gelding bought privately out of Joseph O'Brien's yard in Ireland, and he arrives with strong recommendations attached.
Both O'Brien and respected bloodstock analyst Kevin Blake have spoken highly of him, and it's worth noting that Blake's last recommendation to Harry Derham, One Horse Town, went on to win more than £100,000 in prize money in his first season over hurdles, including a Grade 2 at Cheltenham and appearances at both the Cheltenham and Punchestown Festivals.
He's bred for a serious pedigree too, by Australia, a Group 1-winning, World Champion three-year-old by Galileo out of seven-time Group 1 winner Ouija Board, out of Zofar Zogood, a half-sister to the well-regarded Horoscope, who reached a flat rating of 110.
Pass The Buck's own form already backs up the hype, having won over 1m2f at Fairyhouse by six lengths last time out, leaving him on an official rating of 74, strikingly similar to the mark One Horse Town held at the same stage last year.
What Your £95 Actually Covers
Unlike some ownership schemes that come with ongoing monthly costs, this is designed as a single, one-off payment.
The £95 fee covers a share of the horse's purchase price and every anticipated cost for the first syndicate term, including training, veterinary care and day-to-day keep, race entry and declaration fees, transport, staff and jockey costs, and all syndicate administration.
There's nothing further to pay during that first term, and if costs end up exceeding what's collected, OLBG has confirmed it will cover the shortfall rather than passing it on to owners.

How To Get Involved
Places in the syndicate are available now via OLBG Racing, alongside details of exactly what's included in the first term.
OLBG is positioning this as a more generous ownership experience than some rivals in the micro-share space, where syndicates can run to as many as 3,500 to 4,000 shares in a single horse, often leaving little chance for every owner to properly engage with stable visits or updates.
This syndicate is capped at just 1,200 shares, and it marks the only micro-share opportunity currently available with Harry Derham Racing, giving a smaller pool of owners a genuinely closer connection to Pass The Buck's journey.
