- Philip has moved to odds-on favourite at 4/5
- Rochelle has emerged as the clear second favourite at 11/4
- The house has thinned out since last week, with Chelsey evicted as expected and Charlotte choosing to leave the house of her own accord.
Philip Cements His Position As House Loses Two
It's been an eventful week in the Big Brother house, with two housemates gone since our last look at the betting odds.
Chelsey was evicted as expected following her heavy favouritism with bookmakers in last week's market, while Charlotte's decision to walk away from the house entirely has added a further twist few will have seen coming.
With the field now down to twelve, Philip has used the turbulence to cement his position at the top of the market, moving into odds-on territory at 4/5.
It continues a remarkable run for a housemate who started the series as a rank outsider, and bet365's latest prices suggest the rest of the house is struggling to keep pace.
Big Brother UK Winner Odds
| Big Brother UK Winner | Odds | Implied Probability |
|---|---|---|
| Philip | 4/5 | 55.6% |
| Rochelle | 11/4 | 26.7% |
| Omar | 10/1 | 9.1% |
| Frankie | 11/1 | 8.3% |
| Pauline | 14/1 | 6.7% |
| Johanne | 16/1 | 5.9% |
| Samuel | 16/1 | 5.9% |
| Harry | 20/1 | 4.8% |
| Rob | 25/1 | 3.8% |
| Yasmin | 33/1 | 2.9% |
| Rhianna | 40/1 | 2.4% |
| Lynx | 66/1 | 1.5% |
Philip's 4/5 price gives him an implied 55.6% chance of winning, with Rochelle the only other housemate given a real look-in at 11/4.
From there the market drops away sharply, with Omar (10/1) and Frankie (11/1) making up the next tier.
Philip's Rise Now Spans The Whole Series
What makes Philip's position so remarkable is just how far he's come since the series began.
He opened as a 12/1 outsider, surged into second favourite at 7/2 after a strong early run, pushed on to become outright favourite at 2/1, and has now gone odds-on at 4/5, and that movement shows almost no sign of stalling.
Few housemates manage that kind of sustained momentum across an entire series without at least one significant wobble along the way.
Rochelle's rise tells its own story too, having shortened considerably from 11/2 to 11/4 since we last checked in.
Pauline Biggest Drift In Market
Elsewhere in the field, the picture is far less settled.
Pauline has continued to drift, now out to 14/1 having once been pre-launch favourite at 6/4, a fall that shows just how much a housemate's standing can shift once the public gets to know their genuine personality rather than going off the VT's alone.
Samuel and Johanne have also eased out slightly to 16/1 apiece, while Omar and Frankie remain the closest thing to dark horses in a market that's increasingly being defined by the two names at the very top.
