I break betting odds news as it happens, so you’re never left behind when the market moves or a top offer lands.

  • Philip remains out in front for the Big Brother winner market at 3/1, with bet365 yet to be convinced anyone else deserves top billing.
  • New housemate Twinks has made an immediate impression, jumping straight into second favourite at 10/3 within days of entering the house.
  • Fellow newcomer Catrin has arrived to a far quieter reception, sitting much further down the list at 16/1 as bookmakers wait to see how she settles in.

New Faces Shake Up The Big Brother Winner Market

It's been a busy week in the house, and UK betting sites have had plenty to get their teeth into as a result.

Since our last update, Johanne has become the latest housemate to be evicted, and two fresh faces have walked through the famous doors to take her place.

Lucinda "Twinks" Burnett, 36, from East London, and Catrin Richards, 23, from Aberdare, are both now settled in as official housemates.

It's Twinks who has made the bigger early splash, with bet365 moving quickly to install her as second favourite for the series off the back of her opening few days in front of the cameras.

Philip continues to head the market at 3/1, but his conversations with Twinks may start to see that price change.

Social media has been in uproar following his comments in the conversation with Twinks around trans people on Sunday night.

Twinks' arrival at 10/3 is the standout move of the week, though, jumping a brand new housemate into second favourite inside a matter of days is a rare show of confidence from bet365, and suggests they expect her to be a big presence as the series goes on.

The Rest Of The Market

Catrin arrives at 16/1, a far more cautious starting price than the one handed to her fellow newcomer Twinks, a reflection of bookmakers wanting to see more of her personality before committing to a stronger number.

Samuel, Rob and Yasmin are grouped together at 22/1 apiece, suggesting bet365 see little to separate the trio at this stage of the series.

Harry (30/1) and Lynx (35/1) drift further out, while Pauline and Rhianna prop up the market together at 45/1, with Pauline a massive price difference from the favourite position she held on the first week of the show.

Expert View

What the expert says...
Twinks going straight into second favourite is a bold call from the bookies, but honestly, I get it. She's instantly added entertainment to the house, and that is exactly what is needed after Johanne was evicted.
