Celebrity Traitors Is Back And Richard E Grant Has Already Made A Costly Mistake
Celebrity Traitors is back for its second series, and the betting experts have wasted no time pricing up who'll be crowned the show's next winner.
Claudia Winkleman's Highland murder-mystery returned on Thursday night with a new line-up of 21 celebrities, and it didn't take long for the drama to start.
Richard E Grant was revealed as one of the series' opening Traitors alongside Maya Jama, but the actor's time undercover got off to a shaky start when he confessed to being a Traitor in front of the whole castle before attempting to laugh it off as a joke.
Elsewhere, Ross Kemp's paranoia was already showing in the opening episode, a sign of how quickly the show's trademark tension has returned to the castle.

Maya Jama heads the betting at 2/1 having been named one of the opening Traitors, a position that often sets contestants up well in these markets given how much earlier access it gives them to steering the game.
Michael Sheen (4/1) and Julie Hesmondhalgh (5/1) make up the rest of the current top three, both Faithful at this stage and seen as strong, trusted figures within the group so far.

The Fight For The Third Traitor Spot
The biggest open question heading into Friday's episode is who completes the trio of Traitors alongside Jama and Grant. After Grant's blunder, he and Jama were given the task of recruiting a third, and they turned to two of the Faithful who'd been most vocal in their suspicions about Grant: comedian James Acaster and broadcaster Amol Rajan.
Both were called in the dead of night to make their case, and with the result not revealed until Friday's episode, the pair currently sit level in the betting at 6/1 alongside fellow suspects Miranda Hart and Joe Lycett.
Whichever of the two is picked will immediately become one of the more fascinating figures in the winner market, given how differently a Traitor's run can play out compared to a Faithful one.
