Clara Satchell-Silva Pulls Clear In The Tent
Betting experts have had plenty to get stuck into after a genuinely different week in the Bake Off tent, with last night's episode marking the show's first-ever Audience Choice round.
This week's signature task saw bakers produce a baked cheesecake alongside a family member, before 11 bakers were handed mystery ingredient boxes to craft a creation of their choice for the technical.
The showstopper raised the bar further still, tasking contestants with producing wearable bakes, among them a banana cake wig, an almond sponge resembling angel wings, and a rum fruit carrot cake crafted into a hat.
It proved a week too far for project planner and scheduler Shannon, who became the latest baker eliminated from The Great British Bake Off after failing to impress the judges.
