I break betting odds news as it happens, so you’re never left behind when the market moves or a top offer lands.

  • The Mercury Prize 2026 betting has shifted again, with Olivia Dean's The Art of Loving now joined at the top of the market by Florence + The Machine's Everybody Scream and Dave's The Boy Who Played the Harp, all priced at 6/1 on the latest bet365 odds.
  • RAYE's THIS MUSIC MAY CONTAIN HOPE. has been overtaken at the top, holding steady at 13/2 while the three new joint-favourites shortened past her.
  • Nia Archives, Suede and War Child's HELP(2) have all drifted out since the last update, a sign the market's confidence has swung firmly towards the leading trio.

Three-Way Tie Emerges At The Top Of The Market

Mercury Prize 2026 betting odds have moved around once again, with Olivia Dean no longer standing alone at the top of the latest market with bookmakers.

The Art of Loving has now been joined by Florence + The Machine's Everybody Scream and Dave's The Boy Who Played the Harp, both of which have shortened into 6/1 to sit level with Dean as joint-favourites on the latest odds from bet365.

Dean previously held a narrow edge over a chasing pack that included both Florence + The Machine and Dave at longer prices, but that gap has now closed completely, leaving bookies seemingly unable to split the three at the head of the field.

Latest Mercury Prize 2026 Odds

The three joint-favourites are followed by a chasing pack that remains largely unchanged in shape, even if a handful of individual prices have moved.

RAYE's implied probability of 13.3% now leaves her just outside the three joint-favourites, despite her odds having stayed completely unchanged at 13/2 throughout. It's a reminder that in a market this tightly bunched, standing still can be enough to see a name overtaken by others moving in the opposite direction.

Kojey Radical and Dove Ellis sit just behind at 7/1 apiece, both holding their ground from the previous update, while JADE, Paul McCartney and Knats round out a chasing group that has shown far less movement than the names above them.

What the expert says...
Seeing three names tied at the top like this is unusual for the Mercury, it's normally a bit clearer cut by this stage. Florence + The Machine and Dave both closing the gap on Dean tells you the judging panel conversation is clearly still very live.

How The Market Has Shifted

The clearest story in the movement is just how much ground Florence + The Machine and Dave have made up.

Both were priced at 13/2 in the previous update, level with RAYE, but have since shortened into 6/1 to join Dean at the top.

Kojey Radical and Dove Ellis, meanwhile, have held completely firm at 7/1 across both updates, the only two names in the market to show no movement at all.

At the other end of the market, Nia Archives and Suede have both drifted, moving from 15/2 out to 8/1 and 9/1 respectively, while War Child's HELP(2) has eased further out to 16/1 having previously been tied with Paul McCartney and Knats at 14/1.
